Tools with visible boundaries.

Universal Convertal is built for quick, dependable transformations. Deterministic tools run in your browser; currency is requested only when you ask for a reference rate; image conversion uses bounded server processing by default with an explicit on-device fallback.

Privacy

Unit and developer inputs stay on your device. Image files are sent only in server mode after you start conversion; on-device mode keeps them in the browser. Recent summaries are stored in local browser history and can be cleared at any time. Currency requests send only the selected currency codes; the amount stays on this device.

Sources and precision

Unit definitions and arithmetic live in the shared conversion registry. Currency results show the provider and timestamps returned by the API. Display formatting is separate from calculation precision.

Open source

The interface uses local shadcn/ui and Radix primitives with a small local set of filled Bootstrap Icons SVG paths. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and the repository research documents for the component and license inventory.
